How it all started

Vivitech had it's origins in 1987 when it's founder, a Chartered Electrical Engineer with a career in automation, decided to become self-employed principally to meet demand for software designers familiar with the Siemens range of programmable controllers.

By 1993, the range of services had expanded, instead of short term contracts, the requests were for the design, construction, installation & commissioning of complete turnkey solutions, and Vivitech was born.

Since then we have been developing software for clients across a wide range of industries using both traditional office computer hardware and industrial controllers.

How We Work

We offer IT Products and Services to Industry and Commerce. Our products are software solutions, mostly data oriented, with a view to having IT make your job simpler, more efficient and more profitable.

The goal of our IT Services is quite simply to be your IT department, so that you don't need to go to the expense of having one. From solving niggling technical problems to developing fully customized databases, we can do it.

Our clients are drawn from a broad spectrum, from professionals such as Accountants, Lawyers, Healthcare but also from businesses in manufacturing and wholesalers.

Our Process

Projects undertaken by Vivitech are invariably custom designs, often requiring high level language software for computing facilities as well as PLC software. All our engineers thrive in on-site commissioning situations and are experienced in the working practices of industries as diverse as brewing and mining, automotive and textiles.

Our aim remains simple - to offer a high quality design and commissioning service for people who need a control system. We don't build anything. If you are a system builder, you won't want us to. If you are an end-user, we will have everything built for you - and make sure it's built properly.
