About
At Vivitech we specialise in Software for Industry, be it in a production, warehouse or office environment.
We have expertise in a wide range of industries, creating solutions ranging from simple barcode printer and reader applications right up to complete turnkey control and inventory systems for automatic warehouses.
Our customers include both end users and OEMs - we often work with automation companies both as client and vendor alike.
All of our engineers hold a current ECITB 'Safety Passport'.
Our Capabilities
- PLC Programming
- We have long-running expertise in programming all types of PLC's, current and past. If you require a completely new program, or modification to an existing system, just call us.
- Scada and HMI Configuration
- Whether your operator interface is PC-based or uses dedicated terminals such as "PanelView", we are experts in configuring such systems.
- Recipe & Inventory Systems
- This where our core skills overlap. Industrial control systems often require computer-based data storage for historical logging, inventory maintenance or "recipe" download. Whether this uses off-the-shelf systems such as RS-SQL or Wonderware, or requires customised database software, we can do it.

- Ford Motor Company
- Being a Ford Vendor for over 12 years is something of which we are very proud. During that time Vivitech have reliably supplied Ford - both internationally and throughout the UK - with projects ranging from small, barcode-based tracking applications to large materials handling and warehouse systems.
- Astra Zeneca
- Another blue-chip name which we are proud to serve. Vivitech has supplied Astra Zeneca for over 10 years with process control software used in the manufacturing of key products. The systems are complemented by the use of HMI's and the usual high standard of documentation and support that comes as standard from any project undertaken by Vivitech.
- Liebherr
- Liebherr is one of Vivitech's most recent clients - we are providing software and commissioning support at major material handling installations in the UK.
- Visteon
- This major supplier to the automotive industry has used Vivitech software for end-of-line production tracking systems, making use of barcode readers and custom designed software.
- Samuel Smith Old Brewery
- Another long running, regular client of Vivitech. We have provided warehouse stock control system and other inventory systems.
- Trans-Oceanic Meat Company (Notts)
- Vivitech have installed an inventory tracking system to allow Trans-Oceanic to tag and trace every pallet passing through their recently-opened cold store.
- Friskies Pet Care
- Vivitech provided the necessary experience and troubleshooting techniques to improve reliability and downtime on an existing conveyor system used by this large pet food manufacturer.
